Bible
You can go through the Bible in one, two, four, or eight years with this reading plan.
There are four seven-week terms in a year, and each term’s reading can be seen below. You may also download a pdf of all four terms. If you would like daily reading plans, please see the store for the current cycle’s subscription.
Bible is scheduled by the week and can be divided into as many days of the week as you’d like to spend on it. Feel free to catch up, read ahead, or read something different on the remaining days of the week.
Cycle 3 Bible Memory
Claritas Publishing schedules a Bible passage each week for twenty-eight weeks. If you begin with Claritas when your child is in kindergarten, you will get through all four cycles three times. Because of that, I decided to create two alternative passages for each of the twenty-eight weeks. “Passage One” is blank, because that information can be found in the Claritas Publishing Cycle 3 memory work guide.
See the chart attached, and feel free to download the pdf and fill it in with the Claritas information from the guide (after you have purchased the guide). I don’t want to give away the verses they have scheduled, because I want to support their hard work.
Cycle 3 Bible Form 3+
In addition to reading the Bible, students in Form 3 and up may read books to further their knowledge of the Bible. Here are some suggestions:
Track 1
The Saviour of the World Volume I, The Holy Infancy by Charlotte Mason
What a fabulous resource! Charlotte Mason herself wrote seven volumes of poetry about God’s Holy Word! I recommend that students read these poetry and then also find and read the Scripture passage that the poem references.

Amazon (paperback or Kindle)
The Saviour of the World Volume II, His Dominion by Charlotte Mason
Charlotte Mason Poetry (free)
Ambleside (free)
Riverbend Press (hardcover)
Amazon (paperback or Kindle)
These books are scheduled at a pace of two or three lessons per week for a total of twenty-eight weeks. This series is read over the course of the six years students will spend in Forms 3 and 4+. Form 3 readings are repeated (Cycle 1 and 3 are the same and Cycle 2 and 4 are the same) because a student will only spend two years in Form 3 (seventh and eighth grades). Then, the Form 4+ readings move on from there, with Cycle 1 beginning with Volume III and Cycle 4 ending with Volume VII. There is no harm in jumping in to whatever volume is scheduled for the year, even if a student did not read the previous volume.
Track 2
Life in the Word by Sonya Shafer
This Bible study is schedule during Cycle 1 and Cycle 3 for Form 3+, because Form 3 is 7th-8th grade, so theoretically, a student will only be in Cycle 3 for two years. This Bible study is scheduled at a pace of one to four lessons per week, depending on the length of the lesson.
Cycle 3 Bible Form 4+

and
